How Should I Prepare for My FaceTite® Procedure?
- If you smoke or use nicotine products, you will have to quit weeks before the procedure.
- Before your FaceTite® procedure, you will be instructed to stop using aspirin, NSAIDs, fish oil, Vitamin E, and other medicines or herbal supplements that can thin the blood.
- Men should shave.
- Remove all jewelry worn from the neck up.
- Ensure that you have and bring your paperwork and identification.
What Are Your Concerns?
Are There any Incisions?
Tiny one millimeter incisions (the size of a needle) are made behind the ears and under the chin. These are not visible.
Is FaceTite® Painful?
The use of a local anesthetic will keep you comfortable during your FaceTite® session.
Will FaceTite® Leave Scars?
FaceTite® does not cause any visible scarring.
What Does FaceTite® Cost?
The cost of your FaceTite® procedure depends on the extent of treatment necessary to achieve your ideal results.
While the exact cost of your procedure cannot be determined until your consultation, FaceTite® usually ranges from $5,000 to $7,000.
Dr. Agullo’s consultation fee of $100 will be applied to the cost of your treatment.
All fees must be paid in full prior to treatment.
What Can I Expect for My FaceTite® Recovery?
You may drive yourself home after the procedure unless a sedative has been requested for anxiety during the FaceTite® session.
You may experience some discomfort for a few days after the procedure, but this will quickly subside for a minimal recovery period.
Patients typically return to work and light duty activities in five to seven days.
Most swelling and bruising disappears in two to three weeks, although this can be concealed with makeup starting the day after your procedure. We recommend not returning to strenuous exercise for a month, as it can increase the length of swelling.
When Will I See My FaceTite® Results?
You may have some initial swelling following your procedure, but tissue tightening should be immediately noticeable once the swelling subsides. The reduction of submental fat should occur over the next several weeks. Results continue to improve for the next six months.
What Are Some Frequently Asked Questions About FaceTite®?
Bruising, swelling, and mild discomfort at the incision sites are expected. Rare complications include infection and scarring.
FaceTite™ is a very safe procedure compared to other similar treatments.
